New Faculty Appointment : Dr. Marco Tomamichel – Electrical and Computer Engineering

A very warm welcome to Dr. Marco Tomamichel who has just joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering as an Associate Professor.

Dr. Marco Tomamichel received an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from ETH Zurich in 2007 and then followed his interest in quantum information to graduate with a Ph.D. in Physics at the Institute of Theoretical Physics also at ETH in 2012. His love of travel in addition to the global attractiveness of the Centre for Quantum Technologies at NUS then brought him to Singapore for his first postdoc stint. Before commencing his current position, he has also been a Research Fellow at the University of Sydney and an Associate Professor at the University of Technology Sydney.
