On 23 April 2025, the NUS IEEE-HKN Lambda Omega Chapter held its End-of-Semester Internal Bonding Session to mark the close of AY24/25 Semester 2. Designed as a space for members to unwind ahead of the final examination period, this in-person event aimed to strengthen camaraderie within the chapter while welcoming newer members into the fold.
Held at the College of Design and Engineering, the session brought together members across various years of study. Over a casual spread of pizza and bubble tea, attendees engaged in spirited conversation and rounds of board and card games. Members also took part in small-group discussions on a wide range of topics—from exchange programmes and technical projects to internship experiences and student life. In keeping with feedback from previous sessions, the event adopted a relaxed, unstructured format that encouraged organic interaction and connection.
This was followed by a short sharing segment led by the Executive Committee, which spotlighted exciting new collaborations launched this year, including partnerships with the Engineering Design and Innovation Centre (EDIC), the Innovation and Design Programme (iDP), and the Social Impact Catalyst (NUSSIC), while also paying homage to the success of our legacy events. The committee announced the upcoming chapter elections, expressing their hopes that the incoming team will build on this year’s momentum and continue elevating the chapter in the year ahead.
The Lambda Omega Chapter is grateful for the support from the IEEE-HKN Chapter Support Grant programme and remains committed to fostering meaningful connections and a strong sense of community among all its members. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to all members for their enthusiastic participation and energy throughout the event.
