Dr Jin Yueming Receives Robert Brown Promising Researcher Award as part of MOE AcRF Tier 2 Grant

Dr Jin Yueming from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the National University of Singapore (NUS) has been awarded the Robert Brown Promising Researcher Award under the Ministry of Education (MOE) Academic Research Fund (AcRF) Tier 2 Grant Call.

The award recognises outstanding early-career researchers with strong potential to lead impactful research. Established to support junior faculty, it enables recipients to deepen their research and strengthen their ability to compete for larger-scale grants as they progress in their academic careers. Named in honour of Robert Brown, the award highlights individuals poised to contribute significantly to Singapore’s research landscape.

As part of the same AcRF Tier 2 Grant Call, Dr Jin has also secured a Tier 2 research grant of approximately SGD 1 million, alongside the SGD 100,000 Robert Brown award.

Her research project, “AI-AR-Enabled Navigation Platform for Clinical Treatment,” focuses on leveraging artificial intelligence and augmented reality to enhance precision and effectiveness in clinical procedures, with potential to advance next-generation healthcare technologies.
