A head for solving problems – and studying the Human Brain

This was an interview with Assistant Professor Thomas Yeo from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at NUS Faculty of Engineering, the Clinical Imaging Research Centre, the Singapore Institute for Neurotechnology and Duke-NUS Medical School. Asst Prof Yeo shared how his fascination with the brain took him from engineering to neuroscience. His current research on how mental disorders affect different people led to the development of a brain-analysing software that is used by scientists around the world.

It was mentioned that Asst Prof Yeo spoke at the annual meeting of the Organisation for Human Brain Mapping which was held from 17 to 21 June 2018, and that one of the local organisers of the summit is Prof Michael Chee from Duke-NUS Medical School.
