Position Summary
Process Engineer is responsible for development and establishment of production process.
Responsibilities

• Review and accept machine buyoff, setup pilot line process and transfer from pilot line to
  production line.
• Establish, review and update specifications, workflow, quality and safety related documentation
  for production line.
• Troubleshoot process issue and improve process capabilities, yield and cycle time from customer
  NPI stage to LVM/HVM stage.
• Process sustaining and control through SPC and periodic defect Pareto Analysis.
• Lead and drive SPC control towards zero defects. Review and update FMEA, Control plan OCAP
  with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate and liaise with stakeholders on process issue or quality issue.
• Support NPI activities such as:
  1. New material, process & machine development and qualification.
  2. Handle and manage audits and 8D reports.
  3. Provide disposition for engineering and production lots.
  4. Conduct process characterization and qualification to establish process baseline.

Requirement

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in material science, microelectronics, mechanical engineering or
  relevant engineering degrees.
• Knowledge in process engineering, process control engineering and yield enhancement.
• Knowledge in SPC, DOE, FEMA, and 8D reports
• Experience in semiconductor industry would be an added advantage
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply

Job Description:

• Responsible for the design and development of power electronic modules (mainly DC-DC converters) for use in space.
• Implementing design on the PCB in compliance with reliability, thermal and EMC design guidelines.
• Required to design a robust test plan and to execute the tests before system level integration of the power modules.
• Responsible for generating supporting documents to report on the design and tests of the modules.

 Requirement:

• Strong foundation in power electronics theory.
• Excellent practical skills for prototyping and troubleshooting of power electronic circuits.
• Self-motivated and able to work as a team as well as independently.
• Good proficiency in technical writing.
• Past experience in the power electronics and/or space industry is an advantage.

Detailed Job Description:

The HSRC Data Science Interns can expect to work on a variety of real-world healthcare challenges. Some projects are

• Advanced machine learning and statistical predictive model
• Discrete events simulation and optimization
• Business Intelligence visualization dashboards
• Geospatial analysis on the embedded geographic information system
• Android and iOS based apps for clinical decision support
• Stochastic process modelling and optimization to enhance care delivery

Candidate pre-requisites:

• Students undertaking Bachelor’s, Masters or PhD programs in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial and Systems Engineering, Business Administration (Operations Management, Decision Science, Health Economics, Organizational Behaviour, Health etc), Public Health or related disciplines.
• Good programming and debugging skills in any of the following: R, Python, ArcGIS, VBA, Matlab, App development, web development (HTML/XHTML, CSS, especially JavaScript) or Business Intelligence systems (OBIEE, Tableau).
• Able to write re-usable and validated codes.
• Strong willingness to learn, research and extend beyond what is taught in class to deal with challenging real-world problems.
• Passion for public service and the heart for improving the public healthcare delivery system.
• Excellent problem solving, written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent ability to focus on a specific problem to obtain results.

Potential Learning Outcome:
Students will work closely with the existing expertise in HSRC, Duke-NUS, IT, operational and clinical colleagues.
