Rising Star Award in the Low-Altitude Economy Innovation Challenge
Congratulations to Asst Prof Zhao Lin’s students — Rui Huang (Ph.D., ECE), Xin Chen (part-time M.Sc. in Robotics and full-time Research Engineer), Zhiqian Cai (M.Sc., Engineering Design and Innovation Centre), and Zhenyu Zhang (M.Sc., CEG) — on receiving the Rising Star Award in the Low-Altitude Economy Innovation Challenge organized by Meituan Academy of Robotics Shenzhen, at the IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS), Hangzhou, China, during Oct 20~OCt 24, 2025.
Visit to A*Star Industry
The A*STAR Industry Engagement Initiative on 30 Jan 26 was organized by the ECE Club to expose students to real-world research and industrial practice beyond classroom theory. Through engagements with A*STAR, students gained insight into how Electrical and Computer Engineering concepts translate into national-scale R&D.
